'Der Freischütz'

The second time in my life I saw an opera. Beautiful arena, amazing voices and a story that gave me creeps. So powerful and dramatical. For some reason we don't use our time for those cultural evenings nowadays - this needs to change definitely.

Das zweite Mal in meinem Leben war ich in einer Oper. Wunderschöne Bühne, großartige Stimmen und eine Geschichte, die mir Gänsehaut bereitete. So kraftvoll und dramatisch. Leider nehmen wir uns heutzutage nicht mehr viel Zeit für solche kulturellen Abende - das muss sich definitiv ändern.

If I had to decide which gold color I prefer more, I would have always said white gold. But at the moment I love both, even prefer yellow gold as it is elegant, classic and somehow warmer. Some opinions change after a period of time, especially in the sense of fashion. 

Wenn ich entschieden müsste, welche Goldfarbe ich bevorzuge, hätte ich immer Weißgold gesagt. Aber im Moment liebe ich beides, bevorzuge sogar das Gelbgold, weil es elegant, klassisch und irgendwie wärmer ist. Manchmal ändern sich Geschmäcker nach einer gewissen Zeit, insbesondere der Modegeschmack.

two-in-one

This two-in-one coat is my absolute favorite at the moment. It can be worn as a long coat or a short jacket. In the long version the leather part is in the front, in the short version it's in the back and the long "rest" of it replaces a scarf. I had to wear another coat over it as it's too cold here in Berlin. So this coat-over-coat-outfit was created ;)   

Dieser zwei-in-einem Mantel ist momentan mein absolutes Lieblingsteil. Es kann als langer Mantel oder als kurze Jacke getragen werden. In der langen Version ist das Leder im vorderen Bereich, als kurze Version ist es hinten und der lange "Rest" dient als Schalersatz. Ich musste noch einen weiteren Mantel darüber ziehen, weil es hier in Berlin zu kalt ist. Spontan ist dieses Mantel-über-Mantel-Outfit entstanden ;)

sex and the city

Yesterday we enjoyed a comfy ladies evening. Drinking a glass of wine and watching 'sex and the city' series....wonderful. The four film characters are completely different and it's always fun trying to assign one of them to yourself and your friends ;)

Gestern genossen wir einen gemütlichen Mädelsabend. Ein Gläschen Wein trinken und dabei eine 'Sex and the City' Folge nach der anderen anschauen...herrlich. 

Die Filmfiguren könnten unterschiedlicher nicht sein und es ist immer wieder lustig, einen der Charaktere sich selbst oder seinen Freundinnen zuzuordnen ;)

Most of my jewelry is not elegant at all, so my Mum decided to present me this leather bracelet by Pierre Lang and a braided necklace by Madeleine. So happy for that gifts! Thanks Mum.

Da mein Schmuck so gar nicht elegant ist, beschloss meine Mutter mir einige elegante Stücke zu schenken. Ein Lederarmband von Pierre Lang und eine geflochtene Kette von Madeleine. Vielen Dank Mutti!
